Limewire hack - Good hacking limewire Pro ?

I still didn’t understand that how come this limewire hack works?
As we all all now that limewire is a peer to peer client alowing you share and download files from other limewire basic or limewire pro users.
Limewire pro costs you $34.95 and coems with 1 year updates.

But its amazing to see that people are first download limewire basic version and then using the same basic versions to search foe limewire pro version.
Isn’t this an amazing limewire hack ? I never knew that hacking limewire pro was so easy and people are readily exploiting limewire through its own software. I guess they need to put some check in their software so that people can’t download such stuff from their client.
